It's the Special People Time of the Year!
Most of you are aware of just how much I love a good holiday. Halloween, Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas, Hanukkah...sign me up and start the ovens. But (and don't tell those other days) I get truly inspired right about now. Because now is when celebrate real, actual people. People we know and cherish and are seriously grateful for, like Moms and Dads. Not to mention the kids wrapping up a year away from home with one last finals week. And don't get me started on the remarkable members of the Class of 2023.
I do love Santa, but these folks?
Give them ALL THE COOKIES!
Specifically, give them Special People cookies.

This is an extra special Special People month for me, since it’s when I became a Mom (and my Mom became a Grandma!) 27 years ago. Wow, does that seem like just yesterday. I think I’m going to treat myself to a cookie, come to think about it!
