I'm so ready to celebrate. Aren't you?
As we finally start to see the light at the end of this devastating year, I am beyond ready to literally raise the roof (and then run out of the house and do normal things with real people) for even the smallest victory*. So you can imagine just how excited I am about the big things.
Like, for example, the remarkable Class of 2021.
After hours of Zoom classes, months of learning from the confines of their childhood bedrooms instead of sprawling campuses, being poked and tested and physically distanced from friends and missing out on so much of what makes college and school more than books and tests and papers, they've done it. And whether they are walking across a stage live or getting recognized virtually for all who can tune in to see, they're GRADUATING!
Let's talk about leading by example, shall we?
And then let's talk who deserves ALL the cookies.
This is my daughter's grad photo proof. Incredibly, my youngest will be graduating from college Saturday, and I am so proud of her I can barely breathe. I am also so dead for using this photo on the website.
Actually, they deserve even more for having to sit for awkward photos like this.
